eBooks Side Hustle Income Report – May 2026

Month six, and I want to be straight with you again. May was another step up.

Work is still demanding, life is still full, and I am still building this the slow and steady way. But the numbers kept moving in the right direction, and the story keeps getting easier to tell.

Total revenue for May came in at $228.28, which means another month over month gain. That is growth for the sixth consecutive month, and the trend line is no longer something I have to argue for. The catalog keeps compounding, and the income keeps climbing with it.

Let me put that in perspective. I started this in December with zero books and zero dollars. A few months later I was at $151. By April I had reached $209. Now I am at $228.28. Every month has been bigger than the last, and I have not done anything dramatic to make that happen.

I have just kept publishing and let the catalog do its job.

As I spoke of last month that the 16 books I published in April would start earning once they found their footing. They did. Part of this month’s gain is exactly that pipeline maturing, which is the clearest proof yet that the model works the way I hoped.

Speaking of the catalog, I am now sitting at 126 books published across the platform. Last month I crossed 110, and the climb has not slowed. Here is the part I am still genuinely excited about. I published 16 books again this month, and those titles are barely represented in the numbers you see here. They are brand new, still finding their footing in the algorithm, and the clicks have not fully started landing yet. When they do, that income shows up next month. The floor is rising before it even registers in the data.

The tool that makes this pace possible is eBook Writer AI. I have talked about building sustainably throughout these reports, and that is only possible because my process is dialed in. I research then AI handles the heavy lifting on creation, so I can edit and add context thenn publish consistently without it eating my evenings alive.

The result is that ebooks has now proven itself as a consistent, reliable income stream. This is not a fluke month or a lucky spike. It is a category that produces every single month.

I want to return to something from last month’s report. I talked about one book a day being the right rhythm, and about a pipeline of new titles that had not started earning yet. May is where that pipeline paid off. The rhythm held, the systems held, and the income moved up again.

Six months in. The streak is intact.

The income is growing. The catalog is at 126 and climbing. And there is a fresh batch of 16 titles that have barely started earning.

The compounding is real. And it is still just getting started.
